‘Sex Miseducation’ is a comic on the gaps in our knowledge of sex education.
Sex education is a rarely talked about, but vital, part of growing up. Something that can easily be taught, and learnt but often isn’t. This comic shows a variety of scenarios that could be avoided given that people talked and communicated better about issues regarding sex, consent and intimacy more often. I created this piece digitally, with each double page spread creating one comic that reflects on a specific problem. The style I chose to use for this comic book is more simplistic in order to create a more broadly relatable series of scenarios.
