A series of interactive caves inspired by the famous prehistoric art and cave paintings found worldwide. The caves and supporting materials highlight some of the most popular topics we find in prehistoric art such as animals of the time and lifestyles of the people who lived amongst them. Aimed at young, primary school children the projects purpose is to educate a younger generation about a branch of our art history that they may never have studied or even heard of and encourage them to delve further into the topic. The aim of the caves was to make the viewer feel like they are archaeologists finding the art inside the caves for the first time, uncovering secrets about our past and the lives of prehistoric man. Simply shine a torch through the opening to discover the wonders of prehistoric art.
